This project involves developing different lesson plans and would be a wonderful experience for those students interested in education. The AIDS Project is interested in non-traditional education, so students who are creative and have ideas about fun activities/videos/role-playing should consider being part of this project.
This service project involves students helping to develop an educational awareness program that focuses on HIV prevention by increasing student knowledge about HIV. Students will work with their service learning liaison to discover what educational strategies will work best for taking this message to a variety of high school students. Students will develop an AIDS/HIV prevention curriculum that they will then teach at local area high schools.
