This project is an excellent opportunity for students who are interested in politically charged direct action. Since reproductive freedom is a contentious issue in society, students should be prepared for lively debates during the events they participate in.
In this project, students will organize a rally at the local Women’s Clinic for the National Day of Appreciation for Abortion Providers in March. Organizing will involve staffing an info table at the HUB, where students will pass out material about their upcoming event and encourage other students to attend. Students will also post flyers in town and on campus to publicize their event. Students are required to attend the event they organize.
